AP ECET 2024 Counselling: Registration begins tomorrow; application, document verification process

NEW DELHI: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) will commence the registration for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2024 counselling tomorrow, June 26. Eligible candidates who have cleared the exam will be able to apply for the counselling on the official website, ecet-sche.aptonline.in/ECET/. The deadline to fill the application form and make fee payment is June 30.

In order to apply, applicants belonging to the OC and BC categories will have to pay Rs 1,200 while the SC, ST candidates will have to make payment of Rs 600. The fee payment can be made online by credit card, debit card, or net banking.

The counselling process will include registration, verification of documents, web options entry, change of options, allotment of seats, and self-reporting. The verification of documents will be conducted online for candidates other than Persons with Disabilities (PwD), CAP, scouts and guides, NCC, and sports and games at the provided help centres.

The counselling authority said that the majority of candidates commit mistakes during the registration such as not uploading the appropriate certificate and improper scanning of the document wherein the image is not visible. "Hence the candidates are requested to take utmost care while scanning and uploading of the certificates," it added.

The verification officers at the help line centers will verify the uploaded certificates online. After verification of certificates, the verification officer may approve if all the certificates are visible and proper otherwise they may ask the candidate to re-upload the certificate through message.

AP ECET 2024 result was declared on May 30. The exam was conducted on May 8 for admission into second year lateral-entry into engineering, pharmacy, and architecture programmes.
