Candidates will have to use their log in credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the AP EDCET 2024 seat allotment results. Candidates who will be shortlisted must complete self-reporting and report to their designated colleges from September 28 to October 3, 2024.
In the AP EDCET 2024 round 2 seat allotment, you will have three options to choose from regarding your seat:
Freeze: This option allows you to confirm the seat you've been allotted and opt-out of further rounds of seat allotment. Once you choose this, your admission process will be considered final, and you won't be able to participate in subsequent rounds.
Float: This option lets you accept the allotted seat while still being open to securing a higher preference in future rounds. If a seat in a preferred college or course becomes available, you may be allotted that seat in subsequent rounds.
Slide: This option allows you to accept the current seat while keeping the option to upgrade within the same institution. If a higher-preference course becomes available within the same college, you will be considered for it in the next round.
