AP ICET 2021: APSCHE to announce result tomorrow; Rank vs marks, Tie-breaking criteria

NEW DELHI- On behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam is releasing AP ICET 2021 results in online mode tomorrow, September 30. Candidates who took AP ICET 2021 on September 17 and 18 can check their AP ICET results by visiting the official website- manabadi.co.in or apsche.ap.gov.in. Candidates will be required to enter their AP ICET login details in order to check AP ICET results 2021. Along with sectional and overall AP ICET score, candidates will also get to know their rank.

While preparing the AP ICET 2021 rank list, authorities will consider tie breaking criteria for those candidates whose scores are the same in AP ICET 2021. Along with the AP ICET 2021 result, authorities will also release the AP ICET final answer key, which candidates can access by entering the login credentials. AP ICET rank card will be valid for one academic year. In order to qualify for the further selection rounds of AP ICET selection process, candidates are required to secure 25 percent marks.

Candidates can refer to the following steps to check AP ICET 2021 results in online mode.

Step 1 - Visit the official website of AP ICET 2021- sche.ap.gov.in

Step 2 - Click on the “AP ICET 2021 result” tab which will be available on the homepage

Step 3 - Now candidates will have to provide the required AP ICET login credentials such as AP ICET registration number, ICET hall ticket number, and date of birth

Step 4 - Click on the “View result” tab

Step 5 - AP ICET 2021 results will be displayed on the computer screen

Step 6 - Take a print out of AP ICET result for future reference

AP ICET 2021 Results- Tie-breaking criteria

While preparing AP ICET 2021 merit list, if more than one student secures the same marks in exam, then the tie breaking criteria will take precedence and finalize the candidates rank. Check out the AP ICET 2021 tie-breaking parameters.

• If AP ICET scores are the same between one or more candidates than authorities will consider marks scored in Section A.

• After considering Section A marks and still there is a tie then Section B marks will be considered

• It the tie still persist, then candidates age will be considered and the older candidate will get priority

What after AP ICET results 2021

After declaration of AP ICET 2021 results, those candidates who will be able to secure qualifying marks which is 25 percent for unreserved category will have to take part in the further counselling process. AP ICET 2021 counselling dates are yet to be announced. In order to appear for the AP ICET counselling process, candidates are required to fill the registration form for the same.

Till last year, Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati conducted AP ICET entrance test on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), but this time Andhra University conducted AP ICET entrance test for those candidates who are seeking admission into MBA/ MCA programs at the participating institutes. Around 60,000 candidates appeared for AP ICET 2021.
