AP POLYCET 2024 registration deadline tomorrow; eligibility criteria, application fee

NEW DELHI: Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training will close the registration window for the AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2024 tomorrow, April 20. Eligible candidates should fill out the AP POLYCET 2024 application form by visiting the official website at polycetap.nic.in.
The AP POLYCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on April 27. The exam will be conducted in a single shift for a duration of two hours from 11 am to 1 pm. As per the schedule, the AP POLYCET 2024 result will be declared on May 13.
Candidates from unreserved (UR), other backward class (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 400 to register for the exam. The candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST) categories should pay Rs 100 to register for the AP POLYCET 2024 exam.
The AP POLYCET 2024 examination will be conducted for admission into diploma-level programmes offered in government, aided, private, un-aided polytechnics, and second-shift polytechnics operated in existing private un-aided engineering colleges.

AP POLYCET 2024: Eligibility criteria
Before applying for the AP POLYCET 2024, candidates should review the eligibility criteria provided below.

The candidate should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates should have passed Class 10 from the state board of secondary education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, or any other equivalent board of secondary education.

Candidates from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling), APOSS (Andhra Pradesh Open School Society), or other examinations recognized as equivalent to Class 10 by the government of Andhra Pradesh should have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.

Candidates who have appeared or are scheduled to appear for the Class 10 or equivalent examination in March 2024, and whose results are pending, are also eligible to take the POLYCET-2024 examination.

There are no age restrictions for appearing in the POLYCET-2024 examination.
