NEW DELHI, AUGUST 4: In a bid to give students who are pursuing the journalism course, School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Apeejay Stya University (ASU) has tied up with “The Quint.” The move has come in wake of the way transformation has taken place with regard to dissemination of information. The increasing presence of smartphones, tablets etc has revolutionized the digital space.

Speaking about the collaboration, “Nishant Berlia, Pro Chancellor, ASU, said, “This relationship is a real game changer for those studying Journalism at ASU, especially with the increasing dominance of digital news globally. Students will get a chance to spend time in The Quint’s newsroom, learn digital journalism from some of the best in the business, attend workshops and get the opportunity for internships and industry experience.”

Ritu Kapur, CEO and Co-Founder of The Quint, who inked the contract with ASU, said "What we have been doing at the newsroom is a lot of experimenting. The idea is not to be scared to fail, but being scared of complacency.”

One of the biggest advantages of this partnership is that the students will be well versed with the latest developments that are taking place in the industry and would be placed swiftly once they complete their graduation.
