Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has postponed the exam date of the Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) prelims 2023. As per the official notification, instead of March 17 the APSC CCE prelims exam 2023 will now be conducted on March 18.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 235 vacancies in Assam Civil Services, Assam Police Services and other departments of the APSC. Candidates who register for the examination will be able to download their APSC CCE prelims admit card 2023 from the official website, apsc.nic.in, in due course. The exam will be held in 32 districts in Assam.
“In cancellation of this office's earlier notification No. 24PSC/E-11/2023-24 dated February 16, 2024, this is for information to all concerned that the combined competitive examination, 2023 is rescheduled on March 18, 2024, instead of March 17, 2024,” reads the official notice.

APSC CCE Exam 2024: Paper pattern
The APSC CCE exam is conducted in three stages including prelims, mains and interview. In the APSC CCE prelims exam, two papers are held, each carrying 200 marks. The Mains exam holds six papers and carries 1500 marks in total.
Candidates who successfully clear the prelims, mains exam will move on to the interview round carrying 275 marks in total. The subject and time duration of the APSC CCE prelims exam are given in the table below.
