NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education (AP DSE) has deferred the AP Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 results following instructions from the Election Commission. As per the official notification, the postponement of the AP TET 2024 result declaration is due to the enforcement of the model code of conduct in the state.
Additionally, the department has also postponed the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test (APTRT) exam due to the reasons discussed above. In its letter, the AP DSE requested clearance from the election commission to declare the results. In response to the letter from the AP DSC, the Election Commission asked the state to postpone the announcement of the AP TET results.
“The commission after consideration of the proposals has decided that both the proposals i.e declaration of result of APTET and conduct of APTRT exam shall be deferred till operation of the Model Code of Conduct in the State,” the commission said.
“When declaring the result of APTET and scheduling the APTRT exam after the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), the State of Andhra Pradesh should adhere to the directives of the Honorable High Court of Andhra Pradesh in WP 4267/2024,” it further read.
