Assam: Admission portal opens today for final round 4-year UG courses

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Directorate of Higher Education, Assam will open the admission portal for the final round of four-year undergraduate programmes today. Candidates seeking admission to various UG programmes in the state will be able to apply through the official website, directorateofhighereducation.assam.gov.in.

Admission Alert: UG Admissions Open @ Ahmedabad University. NAAC 'A' Grade
The authority earlier informed that " Applications for admission to UG programmes in all affiliated Colleges under Gauhati University, Dibrugarh University and Bodoland University should be mandatorily provisioned through the Assam Higher Education Admission Portal only without charging any application fee by the Colleges offering UG programmes. The same applies to admissions in UG programmes offered by other State Universities and Autonomous Colleges of Assam."

The merit list will be prepared by the respective university, colleges offering UG programmes and will be published in their institution's website, as per the time date announced by the authority. Candidate will be given a chance to update, modify, and correct their UG application forms from September 16 to September 17.
The Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu in a social media post stated, “ Assam Higher Education Admission portal will be opened today for the final round of admissions into 4-year undergraduate degree courses."
