NEW DELHI: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has notified the recruitment notification for the Combined Competitive Exam (CCE 2024) to fill a total of 235 vacancies. The registration process for APSC CCE will begin today on its official website apsc.nic.in. The last date to submit the online application form is February 6.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 235 vacancies in Assam civil services, Assam police services and other departments of the APSC.
The APSC CCE preliminary exam 2024 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on March 17 and the Assam CCE Main examination is expected to be held between June and July this year. The exam dates will be announced in due course, the notification read.
As per the application fee, general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250 and SC, ST category candidates including ex-servicemen of the respective categories are required to pay the application fee of Rs 150. Those belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and women candidates are exempted from paying fees.

The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Age limit: Candidates should be between 21 years to 38 years old as of January 1, 2023. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates.

Educational qualification: They should have a degree from one of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislatures in India, or from other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or have such qualification as the Government may declare equivalent.
