Assam HSLC, HS exams 2022 to begin from March 15, says education minister: Report

NEW DELHI: Assam board will conduct the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC), or Class 10 exam and the Higher Secondary (HS) Examination, or Class 12 exam from March 15. Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has announced the dates of both the exams after a detailed discussion with the officials of the Sarba Siksha Abhiyan, as per reports.

A SEBA official close to the Secretary Suranjana Senapati reportedly said that the entire schedule will be released next month, January 2022. Both the exams will be concluded by the first week of April, the official added.

In a related development, other states like Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra have also announced board exam dates 2022.

Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has released Chhattisgarh board exams 2022 datesheet on the official website - cgbse.nic.in. Class 10 board exams will be conducted from March 3, 2022 to March 23, 2022. Class 12 board exams will be held from March 2, 2022 to 30, 2022.

Maharashtra Class 12 (HSC) and Class 10 (SSC) board exams 2021-22 will be held offline from March 4 and March 15, respectively, school education minister Varsha Gaikwad announced on social media. Class 10 board exams will be held from March 15 to April 18 while Class 12 board exams 2022 will be conducted from March 4 to April 7, 2022.
