Assam ITI Admission 2026 registrations begin at itiassam.admissions.nic.in; apply by June 11

The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT) Assam has started the registration process for the Assam Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) on the official website of ITI Assam at itiassam.admissions.nic.in. The last date to register is June 11, 2026 and the fee across all the categories is Rs. 25/-.

After registration, applicants have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI along with their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars.

Under the reservation policy, 7 per cent seats have been reserved for scheduled caste candidates. Reservation for scheduled tribe (hills) candidates has been fixed at 5 per cent, 5 per cent, and 18 per cent across different categories, while scheduled tribe (plains) candidates will receive 10 per cent, 23 per cent, and 10 per cent reservation.

Candidates belonging to OBC, including MOBC categories, are entitled to 15 per cent reservation. In addition, 4 per cent seats have been reserved for physically handicapped candidates, while candidates from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category will receive 10 per cent reservation.

To apply for the Assam ITI admission 2026, applicants must follow the following steps:

• Fill out the application form and make the payment
• Upload the documents and then submit
• Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for further reference

Assam ITI Admission 2026: Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for Assam ITI admission 2026, candidates must be Indian nationals and should have passed Class 8 or Class 10 from a recognised board. Applicants must be at least 14 years old as of August 1, 2026, while no upper age limit has been specified for admission. Candidates are also required to secure a minimum of 35 per cent marks in the qualifying examination. Additionally, students appearing for their qualifying exams in 2026 will also be eligible to apply for the admission process.
