Uniraj begins PhD admission process for 2026 session through NET, GATE and CEED scores; interviews to start from June 16

Rajasthan University PhD admissions 2026: Rajasthan University has opened the online application window for the Ph.D. admission 2026. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Rajasthan University at rupauniraj.org.
Candidates applying for Ph.D. admission will have to pay an application form fee of Rs 3,000. In addition, the cost of the registration form is Rs 280, while the admission fee has been fixed at Rs 100. The fee submitted for the online PhD admission application process will neither be refunded nor adjusted or transferred under any circumstances.
The selection process consists of candidates' performance in UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, CEED, or similar national-level tests, followed by an interview conducted by the university. Shortlisting for interviews will be done on the basis of percentile scores, with twice the number of available seats being called for the interview process.

Candidates must have completed a Master’s degree (after a 3-year or 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Applicants with qualifications from recognised foreign institutions with equivalent standards are also eligible. A relaxation of 5% marks (50% minimum) is applicable for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, MBC-NCL, EWS, and PwD candidates as per university rules.
For candidates with a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent grade is required, with a 5% relaxation applicable for reserved and eligible categories as per university norms.
