Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam has begun the online registration process for the Assam police constables 2024. Candidates can fill out the Assam police recruitment 2024 application form by visiting the official website at slprbassam.in. The last date to submit the application form is February 15.
The SLPRB Assam police recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 269 constable posts under the directorate of civil defence and home guards. According to the official notice, there application fee is not required to apply for Assam police recruitment.
Candidates whose application forms are found correct in all respects will be invited to take the Physical Standards Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
“If any candidate is found to have any physical deformity as may be detected by the medical officer present in the selection committee, he/ she will be debarred from participating in the other tests,” the official notice read.
Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for Assam police constable post before applying for the exam.

Candidates should be citizens of India and permanent residents of Assam.

Candidates should have passed the HSLC or Class 10 exam from a recognized board or council.

The candidates should be aged between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2024. Upper age relaxation applies to the candidates of the reserved categories.

Candidates should have registered his/ her name with a local employment exchange in Assam.
