ASTU extends JMEE and JLEE 2020 application last date to August 10

NEW DELHI: Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has announced that the final date to submit the application form for JMEE and JLEE 2020 has been extended. Candidates can now register for the entrance examination till August 10, 2020. The fee payment for the application form can also be done till the above mentioned date. The entrance examination for both JMEE and JLEE 2020 is scheduled to be held on August 23.

The application form is available in online mode and the candidates will have to submit their personal, academic and contact details. Earlier the application last date for both the entrance examinations was July 20, however, it has been extended further due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

About JMEE

Assam JMEE is conducted to provide admissions into the course of Masters in Computer Application (MCA) offered by the university. The examination is held in pen and paper mode and allotment will be done on the basis of merit.

About JLEE

ASTU conducts Assam JLEE for B.E./B.Tech lateral admissions to eligible candidates. The examination is conducted in two centres - Guwahati and Jorhat in offline mode. For admissions, a minimum of 3 years’ Diploma from any Polytechnic Institution of Assam under State Council of Technical Education (SCTE) is required.
