Azim Premji University invites applications for BSc, BA, BSc-BEd programmes; apply by May 6

Azim Premji University Admission: Candidates will have to appear in the national entrance test scheduled to be held on May 26, 2024.
NEW DELHI: Azim Premji University’s Bhopal campus has begun the third round of the admission process for Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Arts (BA), and Master of Arts (MA) programmes today, April 16, 2024. Eligible candidates should fill out the registration form by visiting the university's official website, azimpremjiuniversity.edu.in
The application window will be open for all the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes till May 6, 2024. The university is offering admission in various courses including BSc in biology, chemistry, information science, mathematics, and physics. The courses in BA include BA in economics, English, history etc.
Additionally, the institute is also offering courses in MA programmes including MA in development, economics, education etc, along with a dual degree programme in Bachelor of Science in Education (BSc-Bed).
To get admission in any of these courses, candidates will have to appear in the national entrance test conducted by the university. The national entrance test is a remote proctored test, scheduled to be held on May 26, 2024. The final selection of the candidates will be decided based on their performance in the written test and personal interview conducted in June 2024.

Eligibility for admission
To be eligible for the undergraduate (UG) programmes including BA, BSc, and BSc-BEd, candidates should have completed Class 12 in any Indian board such as Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Pre-University Course (PUC), state boards, or National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), with a minimum of 50% marks.
Candidates who have completed the equivalent of Class 12 in a foreign board exam, such as GCE Advanced Level with at least 3 subjects or Cambridge IGCSE with at least five subjects including English, are also eligible.
Additionally, candidates with an IB Diploma or Certificate with at least 24 points from a total of at least six subjects, with a minimum of three subjects at higher level and three subjects at standard level can also apply.
The upper age limit to apply for the Undergraduate programme is 21 years as of July 31, 2024. Moreover, 25% of seats are reserved for Karnataka-domiciled students who have fulfilled all the selection criteria.
