Badruka School of Management to organise BSM IGNITE; qualifying quiz on April 29
BSM IGNITE Competition: Winners and runners-up have the opportunity to win cash prizes from a total of Rs 2 Lakh.

NEW DELHI: Badruka School of Management (BSM), an institute of Badruka Educational Society, has introduced BSM Ideas Generating New Innovative Ventures Entrepreneurially (IGNITE), a business case competition. The competition is open to final-year students and early-career professionals from across India.
BSM IGNITE provides an opportunity for people to turn their business ideas into successful ventures. Winners and runners-up have the opportunity to win cash prizes from a total of Rs 2 Lakh. The competition also offers many networking opportunities for young people to meet like-minded individuals, potential partners, and investors.
Prabhu Aggarwal, director, BSM, said, “BSM IGNITE aims to empower the next generation of Indian entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary support and resources to bring their ideas to life and contribute to India's journey towards becoming a global innovation powerhouse. Guidance from industry experts
Participants will also get recognition and become more visible through BSM's online platforms, website, and national media coverage. Students will also get insights and guidance provided by industry experts, faculty members, and experienced entrepreneurs.
Panel of judges
A distinguished team of judges will oversee the competition, including Prabhu Aggarwal, director of BSM and former vice chancellor of OP Jindal University and Bennett University. Ramesh Loganathan, professor of co-innovation at IIIT Hyderabad and former interim chief innovation officer of Telangana, will join him, as well as Aditya Vuchi, co-founder and CEO of MediaMint and CEO of Doosra.
BSM IGNITE competition overview
The initial phase comprises an online qualifying quiz, ending on April 29, 2024. Those scoring over 70% in round 1 proceed to round 2, scheduled for May 06, 2024. In round 2, participants are required to submit an executive summary and deliver an elevator pitch. Additionally, they will receive special merchandise from the institute. The top 25% of round 2 contenders progress to round 3 for in-person presentations in Hyderabad on May 18, 2024.
