BCI approves Central University of South Bihar's 5-year BBA LLB programme; registration begins today

CUSB: The list of provisionally-admitted students will be available on October 23.
NEW DELHI : Recently, the Bar Council of India (BCI) approved the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) for starting the five-year BBA LLB integrated degree course for the academic session 2024-25. The interim for approval was sent by the BCI secretary to the registrar of CUSB on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
CUSB vice-chancellor professor Kameshwar Nath Singh, registrar professor Narendra Kumar Rana, controller of examination (CoE) Santigopal Pain, professor SP Srivastava (dean and head, SLG), Kumar Kaushal (deputy registrar, academics and examination), Shashi Ranjan (assistant registrar) and the entire university fraternity express happiness over the achievement, BCI statement said.
“After consideration, extension of approval has been granted to School of Law and Governance, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, Bihar for five years BA LLB (Hons) integrated degree course with an intake of two sections of 60 students in each section and fresh approval has also been granted for five year BBA LLB integrated degree course with intake of one section of 60 students for a period of one year i.e. for the academic year 2024-2025,” official BCI notice reads.
Admission will be based on scores in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024).
Santigopal Pain said: “Since the academic session has already been started for the other 17 UG and PG programmes, we are planning to complete the admission formalities by next week so that the 1st semester for the BBA LLB course can be streamlined.”

CUSB five-year BBA LLB programme
Candidates willing to take admission are required to register themselves through the CUSB portal www.cusb.ac.in. Interested candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria can participate by paying the non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500 for general, OBC, EWS, and Rs 200 for SC, ST, and PWD for each programme.
