Bennett University appoints Ajith Abraham as pro-vice-chancellor

Ajith Abraham has expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science.
NEW DELHI: Bennett University has announced the appointment of Ajith Abraham as its new pro-vice chancellor responsible for academics, research, incubation and international relations.
Abraham has expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer science. He had earlier served as the dean of the faculty of computing and mathematical sciences at FLAME University, Pune, and had also been the founding director of the Machine Intelligence Research Labs, USA, a not-for-profit scientific network that focuses on innovation and research excellence.

Abraham has also served as a professor of artificial intelligence at Innopolis University, Russia, and the Yayasan Tun Ismail Mohamed Ali professorial chair in Artificial Intelligence at UCSI, Malaysia.
Abraham's qualifications include a PhD in artificial intelligence from Monash University, Australia, and a master of science degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Abraham has conducted research in various areas, including artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), network security, web intelligence, and web services. His research has more than 1,400 publications, including over 100 books covering various aspects of computer science.
