NEW DELHI: The Bennett University celebrated its seventh foundation day yesterday. The university said it is focused on offering a transformative learning experience and make students career ready.
In the last seven years, the university has grown into six schools offering over 30 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. It also offers more than 70 industry-focused specialisations in engineering, applied sciences, management, media, law, and liberal arts.

The university said it has incubated 30 student startups while raised external funding of over 100 crores through Bennett Hatchery and The Times Group Connect initiative.
The Bennett University is an initiative of The Times Group. The university said it follows a curriculum designed by a distinguished industry advisory board, comprising industry leaders from various sectors worldwide.
The managing director of The Times Group and chancellor of the university, Vineet Jain, said, “Bennett University, an institution of excellence, has set benchmarks in higher and professional education. The university is spread over 68 acres and is equipped with several facilities and amenities such as futuristic academic and sports infrastructure and 16 courts for various recreational activities, it said.

The university has also been designated as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the department of scientific and industrial research of the ministry of science and technology.
The university has more than 80 teaching and research laboratories. It has filed 88 patents, out of which 14 have been granted. The university has 215 active PhD students and research scholars. Bennett University has entered into strategic partnerships with more than 70 international universities, including New York Film Academy, USA; Georgia Tech, USA; Babson Global, USA; Florida International University, USA; the University of Nebraska, Omaha; the University of British Columbia, Canada; University of Essex, UK; and University of Birmingham, UK.
