'Two Legacies, One Future': Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society launches global campus

Bhawanipur Global Campus, formerly NSHM Knowledge Campus, is NAAC A+ accredited, affiliated with MAKAUT, and approved by AICTE
The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society (BGES) has launched Bhawanipur Global Campus (BGC), formerly known as NSHM Knowledge Campus in Kolkata. The new university is NAAC A+ accredited, affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
According to the official BGC press release, the university was launched in the presence of key stakeholders and academic leaders, marking the beginning of a new academic journey. The university will provide students with “real-world skills” and help them create careers through their academic achievements and practical industry experience.
The occasion truly embodied the spirit of “Two Legacies, One Future,” the official BGC press release adds.
The university will offer students with industry-endorsed training programmes, professional certifications, hands-on lab training with certified faculty, and research-driven learning opportunities.
Bhawanipur Global Campus Admissions 2026
According to the official BGC press release, the new campus is equipped with “state-of-the-art facilities” and provides a flexible learning environment to students. The university offers several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including business and management, pharmacy, allied health, advanced computing, media, design, hospitality, and culinary arts.
“At BGC, students benefit from outcome-based education and research-oriented learning, with a curriculum that integrates core academic knowledge with horizontal skill development, offering new-age, in-demand specialisations aligned with industry needs,” the official BGC statement said.
Speaking on the launch of the new institution, the senior vice president of BGES Miraj said: “The launch of Bhawanipur Global Campus creates a significant milestone because two educational traditions are now being unified. Our vision is to create a transformative learning environment where academic rigour and strategic industry alliances converge, equipping students with global skills to lead,innovate, and drive ethical and sustainable impact.”
