Banaras Hindu University will issue admit cards for entrance test for free UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 coaching by July 27 on BHU portal.

NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University’s Ambedkar Centre of Excellence will conduct entrance test for admission to free Union Public Services Commission Civil Services Exam (UPSC CSE) coaching for Scheduled Caste (SC) students on August 7, 2022 from 9am to 11:30am. BHU will issue admit cards by July 27 on its official website – bhu.ac.in.

“Dr Ambedkar Centre of Excellence, #BHU, shall hold on 7th August, 2022, entrance test for admission to free coaching for the Civil Services (Prelims and Mains) Examinations 2023 to the students from Scheduled Caste category. The test will take place from 9.00 am to 11.30 a.m,” BHU said in a tweet.

The entrance test will be conducted at Mahila Mahavidyalaya and Institute of Science at BHU. “Admit cards of all the candidates shall be issued by 27th July, 2022. Candidates may also download their admit cards from BHU portal,” the university added.
BHU commenced the application process for free IAS coaching for SC students on May 31. Students were able to register till June 15, 2022 at new.bhu.ac.in.
SC students will have access to facilities such as classrooms, a library, and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity at the Dr Ambedkar Centre of Excellence. DACE centre will have up to 100 seats for coaching, out of which, 33 percent are reserved for eligible SC female candidates..

As per the official website, “The scheme is aimed to establish Dr Ambedkar Centre for Excellence in 31 central universities, one from every state, Union Territory of India. Through the scheme, the Centre shall empower Scheduled Caste students in competitive exams by providing the best and free coaching facilities.”
The BHU had informed that the Centre will also provide curriculum and preparatory material based on the changing pattern of the UPSC civil services exams.
