BHU to offer 19 programmes through CUET UG 2025; drops legal studies paper for BA LLB

NEW DELHI: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has issued the information bulletin for admissions to undergraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025. As per BHU UG information bulletin 2025, 19 courses will be offered through the CUET scores.
For the BA (Honours) LLB programme, candidates will be required to apply for the language test and general aptitude test in CUET UG 2025. The university has dropped the requirement of legal studies as the paper has been removed from the list of CUET UG subjects this year.
Moreover, BHU has decided to admit students to two more UG programmes through CUET 2025, starting this year, including Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Technology (Radiotherapy) and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology.
Foreign nationals are exempted from appearing for the CUET UG exam and their admissions will be conducted on the basis of merit only.
As per the eligibility criteria for BHU UG admission 2025, students appearing for their qualifying degree examination or awaiting results are eligible to apply. For counselling, , candidates will be required to apply for the Combined Allotment Program (CAP UG) 2025.

“For admission to the Banaras Hindu University, candidates are required to appear in the CUET (UG) - 2025 in the subjects they have studied and/or passed in Class 12,” BHU clarified.
