NEW DELHI: Strengthening cross-border entrepreneurial relations between India and Bhutan, the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) organised a visit for high-level delegation from Bhutan to its Atal Incubation Centre (AIC).
The delegation from Bhutan was led by Kunzang Lhamu, director general of employment and entrepreneurship, Royal Government of Bhutan, who expressed his interest in AIC-BIMTECH’s structured incubations programmes such as Khoj, Prarambh, Gurukul, and Udaan, as per the official statement.
Prabina Rajib, director at BIMTECH, said: “This visit is a vision shared by both countries to empower entrepreneurs and develop strong, sustainable ecosystems that can flourish across borders. We are confident that this partnership will open the door for Bhutan to develop its own vibrant startup ecosystem, drawing inspiration from India's inspiring journey."
The discussion during the visit covered the “potential” for long-term mentorship agreements and sector-specific collaborations with India’s centres of excellence.
