BSEB has announced the Bihar Board Inter Results 2026. As per the Bihar Board Inter result 2026 stats, overall, a total of 85.19% students have qualified. The total pass percentage for girls is 86.23%.

All the topper students of BSEB Inter toppers will be awarded with the "Bihar School Examination Board Deshratna Dr Rajendra Prasad Medha Scholarship". 

Notably, the scholarship amount has increased from the previous year. Students who have secured top 5 positions in the merit list of all three streams will be given a scholarship of Rs 2,500 per month.

The Bihar board said in an official statement: "We printed separate copies and separate OMR sheets for each subject, each student’s photo and name. Thus, this year, pre-printed copies (with barcode and lithocode) with the photo and name of all students were created and successfully implemented." 

"Under this scheme, the candidate's name, roll code, roll number, subject code, and exam date were pre-printed on their copies and OMR sheets, which also had their photo pre-printed. It is worth noting that previously, candidates had to fill in approximately 27-28 different boxes. If a candidate made a mistake in filling out even one box, there was a possibility of an error in their result. This had to be addressed by the committee through other alternative means, which was time-consuming," it added.

The overall pass percentage in the BSEB Class 12 board exam 2026 is 85.19%. A total of 26 students have topped the Bihar intermediate board exams where 19 are female candidates.

Sakshi and Sapna Kumari have shared second spot in the BSEB Bihar Class 12 board exams 2026. Both the girls have scored 489 marks with 95.80%.

Aditya Prakash Aman has secured rank 1 in the Bihar Class 12 board exams 2026. He scored 481 marks with 96.20%. 

In the BSEB Bihar Inter exam 2026, the student who secured the first position will be awarded Rs 2 lakh, the student who secured the second position will be given Rs 1.5 lakh, and the third position holder will be given Rs 1 lakh. 

Students who have secured the 4th and 5th positions will be given Rs 30 thousand. In addition to this, all the rewarded students will also be provided with one laptop each, a certificate of appreciation, and a medal.

As per the official BSEB press release, this year, all the topper students of BSEB Inter toppers will be awarded with the "Bihar School Examination Board Deshratna Dr Rajendra Prasad Medha Scholarship".

According to the Bihar Board, more than 5 lakh students appeared for the BSEB Class 12 exams. BSEB conducted exams across 1,762 exam centres, including 152 model centres.

On the Day of BSEB inter exams 2026, for the Science stream Biology subject, a total of 4,98,475 students appeared, while the Philosophy exam was held for 3,842 candidates in shift 1. 

In the second shift, BSEB conducted the Economics exam for 55,964 arts and commerce stream students.

A total of 13,17,846 students registered for the Bihar Board Intermediate Examination 2026, of whom 6,75,844 were female, and 6,72,002 were male students.

BSEB will also announce the Bihar Board 12th toppers list 2026 for all science, commerce, and arts streams students. The previous year's topper details are as follows. 

The student who secures the first rank in the Bihar Board Intermediate examination 2026 will be awarded Rs 2 lakh in cash. The second-place student will receive Rs 1.5 lakh, while the third-place student will be given Rs 1 lakh. Students ranking fourth and fifth will each receive Rs 30,000.
