Bihar Board Class 12 Exam 2026: Over 7.6 lakh students appear on day 2

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) successfully conducted the second day of the Class 12 annual examination 2026 today, February 3, at 1,762 centres across the state. A total of 7,63,000 students appeared for the intermediate exams.

According to the BSEB official notice, a total of 4,21,967 students from the science and arts streams appeared for the Mathematics examination in the first shift, held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm.

In the second shift, held from 2 pm to 5:15 pm, a total of 3,41,033 students appeared for the political science examination for the arts stream and the foundation course examination for the vocational stream.

A total of 13,17,846 candidates registered for the Bihar Board Intermediate Examination 2026, including 6,75,844 female students and 6,72,002 male students.

BSEB Intermediate Examination 2026

“In Patna district, both shifts were conducted smoothly. In the first shift, 27,907 students appeared for the mathematics exam, and in the second shift, 23,635 students appeared for the political science and vocational subjects exams,” the official notice said.

“The BSEB chairman, Anand Kishor, conducted a surprise inspection at Ramlakhan Singh Yadav Sarvodaya High School, Punaichak, during the first shift. He inspected the arrangements, instructed the staff to strictly follow the board guidelines, and briefly interacted with the students regarding the examination,” the notice added.

The third day of the Bihar board Class 12 annual exam 2026 is scheduled for February 5, 2026. The Physics paper will be conducted in the first shift for science stream students. In the second shift, the Geography exam will be held for arts students, and the Commerce exam for commerce students.

The first day of the BSEB Class 12 exam 2026 was held on February 2, with over five lakh students appearing for the examination.
