Bihar Board Class 10 special, compartment exam 2026 registration deadline extended till April 10

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the last date to register for the Class 10 special and compartment exam 2026. Concerned students can now apply for the Bihar Board Class 10 special and compartment exam by April 10 through the official website, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.

To complete the Bihar Board Class 10 special and compartment exam 2026 form, general category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 950, which may go up to Rs 1,010, including applicable charges. For reserved category students (SC, ST, EBC), the application fee is Rs 835, which may increase to Rs 895 with additional charges.

Students opting for practical subjects such as home science, music, dance, and fine arts will have to pay an extra Rs 30 as the practical exam fee. Students will have to pay an extra Rs 200 as a permission fee for betterment or to appear in a single-subject (English) exam.

BSEB Bihar Board 10th compartment form 2026

Earlier, the Bihar Board Class 10 special and compartment exam application window was open from April 1 to April 7, but it has now been extended.

The board said that the Bihar Board Matric special exam 2026 and Matric compartment exam 2026 will be held separately. Students registered for the academic years 2023–24, 2024–25, and 2025–26 can apply through their school principals on the official websites.

The board said that some fees, like the provisional certificate and practical fees, will not be charged for students who have already failed or are appearing for compartment exams.
