NEW DELHI: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna informed that Class 10 matric students will be expelled for two years from appearing in exam if found to forcefully enter the exam premises after the scheduled entry time. Suspension action and an FIR will be filed against such students under the category of criminal trespass, the board warned.
The board reiterated that the BSEB matric exam 2024 will be held in two shifts - morning shift will be held from 9.30 am to 12:45 pm and afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5.15 pm. Asking students to strictly adhere to the exam timings, it said that the entry time for morning shift students will be 9 am and the gates will be closed for afternoon shift at 1.30 pm.
The BSEB Board today said: “Students who reach the examination centre later than the scheduled time for admission, by jumping over the boundary wall or attempting to forcefully enter the examination centre will be considered illegal.”
“This is a violation of the board's instructions and falls under the category of Criminal Trespass. Thus, this is a clear attempt to influence the integrity of the examination without any malpractices and is also a criminal act,” it added.
Moreover, if such a student is allowed to appear in the Bihar Board Class 10 exam 2024 by the centre superintendent, action will be taken against the identified persons, including suspension and FIR.
The board has also made videography arrangements and installed CCTVs at the exam centres to curb malpractices and use of unfair means during the exam.
Notably, the board has expelled 51 students on day 1 of the Bihar Board Class 12 exams 2024 for using unfair means. It also caught eight persons impersonating the Class 12 students, as per reports.
