BSEB Class 12 exam-day guidelines

The Bihar Board has issued strict exam-day guidelines to prevent the use of unfair means.

  • A two-level frisking will be conducted at all centres - the first at the main gate by designated committees and the second inside the exam hall with one invigilator or magistrate deployed for every 25 candidates.
  • CCTV surveillance and videography will be active at all exam centres.
  • Students will be allowed entry inside exam centre only 30 minutes before the exam begins, and have been advised to reach the venue at least one hour in advance.
  • The Bihar Board has prohibited electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic and magnetic watches, inside the exam hall.
  • Unauthorised persons will not be allowed within 200-metre radius of the exam centres.

Special provisions have been made for differently-abled candidates and such students will be provided compensatory time of 20 extra minutes per hour, along with necessary writing assistance. Moreover, only the centre superintendent, examiners, and authorised staff will be permitted inside the exam hall.
