Bihar CM to inaugurate state’s largest Bapu exam complex, phase 2 education reforms

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate Bihar's biggest Bapu examination complex in Patna today, August 23. The first-of-its-kind exclusive examination complex has a seating capacity of more than 16,000 examinees at a time. The complex will administer all kinds of exams including matriculation, intermediate and competitive examinations.
The Bapu Examination Complex located at Kumhrar in Patna is spread over five acres. The complex is equipped with CCTV cameras, cell phone jammers and a webcasting facility to check the use of unfair means. Apart from this, the meritorious students of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will be provided with free coaching for engineering and medical (NEET/ JEE) exams.
On the top two floors, 13,048 offline and 3,584 candidates can take the online exam. Which implies that a total of 16, 632 students will be able to appear for the examination in the hall simultaneously. However, in future its capacity will be increased to 20,000 candidates.
CM will also inaugurate Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB)’s second phase of the reforms roadmap. Some of the key features of phase 2 reforms are:

Examination building to be constructed in all the remaining 29 districts.

Construction of strong rooms in all 38 districts of the state.

Online examination centres and computer testing labs to be constructed in all nine divisions of the state.

The commission will facilitate Artificial Intelligence based forms in the examination.

RFID based security and tracking systems will be developed to conduct all exams in a fair manner.
Deputy CM Tejasvi Prakash Yadav along with other state ministers will be present at the event.
