“If no clerk or attendant is posted in any Saraswati Vidya Niketan (Adarsh Vidyalaya), then arrange for the clerk or attendant posted in a nearby school to be deputed to the said Saraswati Vidya Niketan (Adarsh Vidyalaya),” the official notice read.

The school department has further directed that the examination centres should not be set up in any Saraswati Vidya Niketan (Adarsh Vidyalaya).

Additionally, it also mentioned that if necessary, the district education officer may be ordered to recommend alternative centres.

The officers nominated by the district authorities have been asked to regularly monitor the conduct of awareness sessions and ensure the proper use of musical instruments in the schools, it added.

In October this year, the Bihar government directed the education and home departments to scrutinise the salaries and allowances of all their employees before releasing next month's salaries, following the detection of irregularities in salary processing.

While the education department has a workforce of over six lakh teachers and other staff, the home department has more than three lakh employees, including security personnel and police officers.
