Bihar Police SI Mains result 2024 out at bpssc.bih.nic.in; final selection process

NEW DELHI: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) announced the Bihar Police sub-inspector Mains Result 2024 today, March 15. Candidates who have appeared for the written exam can check and download the Bihar Police SI Main result 2024 from the official website, bpssc.bih.nic.in.

The Bihar Police SI Mains 2024 was held in two shifts on February 25. The main written test consisted of two papers. The first paper was General Hindi, in which candidates were required to score 30% marks. The second paper was general studies.

According to the official notice, a total of 23,957 candidates appeared in the first paper and 1,448 were absent. Total 275 candidates were declared disqualified for various reasons, including misconduct. For paper 2, a total of 23,948 candidates appeared and 678 candidates were disqualified or declared ineligible.

Out of 23,204 candidates who obtained the minimum qualifying marks in the second paper, 6 times the number of available vacancies for various categories were selected to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Separate admit card will be issued for Bihar Police Si PET 2024.

The Bihar Police SI selection process 2024 comprises preliminary exam, mains exam, PET, Medical exam and document verification. The preliminary exam serves as a screening test, and candidates who qualified were eligible to appear for the main exam. Based on the candidates' performance in the main examination, PET, medical examination, and document verification, a final merit list is prepared.
