BIMTECH holds 2nd convocation 2024 for online PGDM students

BIMTECH Convocation 2024: 83% of cohort 2 and 63% learners of cohort 3 PGDM online programme were awarded diplomas.
NEW DELHI: Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) Centre for Online Studies (COOLS) held its second annual convocation ceremony for the online Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) batches of July 2021-June 2023 and January 2022-December 2023.
The institute said a male-female ratio of 7:3, 83% from cohort 2 and 63% from cohort 3 received their diplomas during the event. Around 1,000 students have been offered admission in the last three years.
The PGDM online course saw a 76% enrollment of experienced learners and 30% representation of women.
The 2-year PGDM online programme offers dual specialization in marketing, finance, analytics etc., with an objective to imbibe students with a diversified understanding of business areas and skills required in the field with a focus on practical learning.
Additionally, the program's dissertation writing course provides students with a platform to explore current business issues and develop a nuanced understanding of emerging trends, BIMTECH said.

Speaking on the occasion, Prabina Rajib, director of BIMTECH, said: “BIMTECH is honoured to see these experienced and talented young minds develop into future leaders and is proud to announce that our PGDM graduates have left no stone unturned and have the determination and excellence to confidently advance and make significant contributions to business.”
The convocation featured distinguished speakers, including chief guest Prem Singh, president of J-K organization, Prasad Rampalli, CTO, Deloitte and Govind Kumar, president of UpGrad. The event also witnessed the presence of Prabina Rajib, director of BIMTECH, Harivansh Chaturvedi, chief educational advisor of BIMTECH and SS Dubey, chairperson of COOLS, BIMTECH.
