BITS School of Management awards degrees to 131 MBA students

BITSoM celebrated its convocation ceremony, which was attended by Olympic bronze medallist Leander Paes as chief guest.
NEW DELHI: BITS School of Management (BITSoM) awarded degrees to 131 students of MBA 2022-24 batch during its convocation ceremony today. Olympic bronze medallist and 18-time grand slam winner Leander Paes was chief guest on the occasion. The BITSoM convocation ceremony was attended by more than 600 students, parents, faculty members and staff.
Akash Junnarkar received the ‘Valedictorian Award’, and Mohnish Shah received the ‘Chancellor’s Award for All-Round Excellence’. BITSom Said students of the MBA 2022-24 batch have secured job offers from companies such as McKinsey and Co, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), PwC, KPMG, Aditya Birla Group, Hindustan Unilever, Pidilite Industries, JP Morgan Chase, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Accenture Strategy, among others.
Congratulating the students and their families BITS Pilani chancellor Kumar Mangalam Birla said, “There has never been a more fortuitous moment to be young and stepping out from the halls of a business school in India. This is indeed India’s moment. A unique confluence of time, place, and potential that energises us to leap into the future. In the face of this unparalleled opportunity, it falls upon you, to seize the moment.”

BITS Pilani vice-chancellor Ramgopal Rao said, “Success in the business realm transcends mere mastery of theories and number crunching. It hinges on one’s ability to embrace uncertainty, pivot with changing tides, and courageously undertake calculated risks.”
