If a student wishes to choose the top engineering stream at BITS, they must secure at least 370-380 points on the BITSAT 2022, as this is regarded as a respectable score. For admission to other engineering branches and the BITSAT 2022, a score of 290 or more is deemed sufficient. The average score for the test is over 300.

1. In case of a tie, student with higher score in Mathematics/ Biology will be given higher rank.

2. If a tie still persists, student with higher score in Physics will be given higher rank.

3. If a tie still persists, student with higher score in Chemistry will be given higher rank.

4. If a tie still persists, PCB/ PCM marks obtained in class 12th will be considered to resolve the tie.

As per the BITSAT 2022 brochure, The questions will be selected at random from a large question bank. Different candidates will get different question sets. However, an expert committee ensures that the question sets are of comparable difficulty level, content, question type etc.

If a candidate answers all the 130 questions (without skipping any question), the candidate will have an option of attempting 12 (twelve) extra questions, if there is still time left. These extra questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and Logical reasoning only; three questions from each of them. Further, once the candidate has opted for extra questions, he/she cannot go back for correction of any of the earlier answered 130 questions.

IN 2019 when they had 150 questions , 450 marks + plus bonus itself the cutoff showed 370+ only
