NEW DELHI: After the Supreme Court asked all state boards to declare results by July 31, 2021, most of the education boards have announced the Class 10 and Class 12 results before the deadline. This year, states were quick to cancel and postpone exams as the country was struggling to contain the second wave of COVID-19.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and several state boards cancelled the exams in view of the pandemic and decided to evaluate students based on alternative assessment criteria.
Boards including CBSE, CISCE, Uttar Pradesh , Maharashtra, Kerala , West Bengal, Haryana, Gujarat, Assam among others have already released the results for both Classes 10 and 12. However, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh are yet to release the Class 10th result.

Here is the list of boards yet to release Class 10th results and how each board is going to evaluate students.
Karnataka SSLC 2021
The Karnataka government conducted the SSLC exam 2021 just like last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 8 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka SSLC examination. The High Court, however, had asked the board not to force any student to take the exam. The paper pattern and timings were different from last year and the exam was objective-type in nature.
Students can expect the Karnataka SSLC 2021 results to be declared soon on the official website sslc.karnataka.gov.in. According to the Indian Express report, Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said that the Class 10 results are expected to be declared by August 10.
On July 23, the board had released the KSEEB Karnataka SSLC result 2021 answer key for the Karnataka secondary school leaving certificate examinations 2021 , which was held from July 19 to July 22, 2021.
Tamil Nadu 10th result 2021
Tamil Nadu was the first state to announce the cancellation of Class 10 exams due to Covid-19. Over 9 lakh students are waiting for TN Class 10 results 2021. On July 19, the state education minister Anbil Mahesh announced the TN 12th result 2021 .
The board has decided to promote students without exams this year. Though there was no official announcement on Class 10 evaluation criteria, the board may follow the assessment method used last year. According to the criteria devised last year, about 80% weightage was given to marks secured by students in quarterly and half-yearly assessment tests, 20% weightage to attendance.
Andhra Pradesh SSC 2021
After the Supreme Court made some critical remarks against the Andhra Pradesh government’s decision on conducting the board exams, the board decided to cancel the examination for both AP SSC and inter 2021 . It also announced that the results will be published by July 31. Though the board released the AP inter 2nd year results 2021, the Class 10 results are still pending. This year, the board has not officially announced any evaluation criteria for the Class 10 students.
Students can check the BSEAP SSC result 2021 on the official website examsresults.ap.nic.in or bse.ap.gov.in.
