NEW DELHI: The board exams for Classes 10 and 12 are being conducted. For CBSE and CISCE the exams have been commenced, and the results are expected to be announced in the month of July 2022. The state board exam results for many educational boards are expected to be released in May, or June 2022.

Every board sets a minimum passing marks criteria to promote students. For some boards, it is 33 per cent, while for some boards, it is 30 per cent. Below, we have enlisted the passing criteria for some major boards.
The passing marks in each subject of external examination is 33% for Classes 10 and 12.
In CBSE Board exam 2022, for subjects with the practical examination, students must obtain 33% marks in the theory and 33% marks in the practical separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate, in order to pass in that subject.
To pass in ICSE exam 2022 students will need to score a minimum of 33 per cent of marks aggregate and individually in each subject.
For ISC 12th exam 2022, students will require a minimum of 35 per cent in aggregate and individual subjects.
A minimum 33% of marks is required to pass the UP Board exams.
Students need to score at least 33 marks out of 100 to pass a particular subject.
It is also mandatory to score 33% marks individually in each subject to pass.
For the students of BSEB 10th, 12th, the passing marks per subject is 30% of the aggregate.
Total passing marks for Bihar Board exams is 150 marks in aggregate.
To pass the MP board 10th, 12th exams, students will have to score at least 30 per cent marks in each subject and practical exams.
The aggregate marks should also be at least 30 per cent to pass the examination.
It is mandatory for students to obtain at least 35 per cent marks in order to pass the 10th of 12th board examination.
These 35 per cent marks are to be obtained individually in each subject as well.
