Check NowNEW DELHI : Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Tripura boards will be conducting Class 12 board exams 2024 today, March 1. Students are advised to reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of exams, carry their admit cards, and follow exam-day instructions.
All the boards will be commencing the exams for the academic session 2023-24 with language subjects. The minimum passing marks for board exams 2024 are 35 marks out of 100.
As per general board exam guidelines, students are allowed to carry only stationery items inside the exam hall. Items including books, notebooks, blank paper sheets, mobile phones, earphones, tablets, bluetooth devices etc. are prohibited in the examination centre.
Board Exams 2024: Board-wise exam timings
Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh will be conducting early-morning exams while Tripura board will hold the exam late in the day. The duration of state board exams 2024 is almost three hours.

For Chhattisgarh students, this would be the last year for appearing in board exams only once a year as the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) recently announced conducting board exams twice a year.
