BPSC headmaster, head teacher registration deadline extended to April 10

NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has extended the registration deadline for the posts of head teacher, headmaster to April 10, 2024. Eligible candidates who have not applied yet can fill out the BPSC headmaster, head teacher application form 2024 through the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.
The BPSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 6,061 headmasters and 40,247 head teachers for primary schools under the state's education department. The commission will soon issue the BPSC headmaster, head teacher admit card on the official website.
For the registration of BPSC head teacher and headmaster posts, applicants from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with disabilities (PwD), and female candidates should pay an application fee of Rs 200. Candidates belonging to other categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 750.
To qualify for the BPSC headmaster and headteacher recruitment examination, candidates should have a postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks. Candidates who belong to other backward class (OBC), SC, ST, PwD, women, and economically weaker section (EWS) categories will receive a 5% relaxation in the qualifying degree criteria.
Additionally, candidates should have a valid score in the Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Candidates employed in schools affiliated with boards such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), and the Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) are exempted from providing TET scores.

Candidates should follow the steps given below to fill out the BPSC application form 2024.
- Visit the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click the “Apply Online” tab.
- Now, click on the head teacher headmaster application link.
- Fill out the registration form and generate log in credentials.
- Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
- Download the application form and take a printout for future reference.
