The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will fill a total of 1,230 posts through the 72nd CCE examination 2026.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the integrated 72nd Combined (preliminary) Competitive Examination (CCE) 2026 due to unavoidable reasons. The exam was scheduled to be held on July 26.
According to an official notification, the new date for the BPSC 72nd CCE examination 2026 will be announced late.
The commission was supposed to conduct the BPSC 72nd CCE on June 26 for recruitment to a total of 1,230 posts including, Supply Inspector, Child Development Project Officer, Financial Administrative Officer, Sub-Election Officer, Sub-Registrar/Joint Sub-Registrar, Labour Superintendent, Assistant Registrar (Cooperative Societies), District Audit Officer, Bihar Education Service, Probation Officer, Block SC and ST Welfare Officer, Block Minority Welfare Officer, among other positions.

The competitive exam was scheduled to be conducted in a single shift from 12 noon to 2 pm at various centres across Bihar. The BPSC registration process for CCE examination was held from May 7 to 31.
The BPSC declared the results for 70th CCE on June 19 where over two thousand candidates were shortlisted. According to the official document, Shraddha Pandey from Uttar Pradesh secured the first rank, while Shashank Pandey and Aksh Vijoy stood second and third, respectively. Four women featured among the top 10, and women accounted for 45 of the top 100 ranks.
