Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: A large section of aspirants have been protesting demanding BPSC TRE re-exam after the alleged paper leak cases surfaced. Over 270 in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district were detained by the Bihar Police in connection with the BPSC TRE 3 paper leak case. #BPSC_TRE3_REEXAM is trending now on social media platforms.
Several aspirants also shared screenshots of BPSC TRE 3 answers shared through WhatsApp chat and videos where aspirants are purportedly copying answers from mobile.
The Bihar Public Service Commission teacher recruitment exam (BPSC TRE 3.0) exam was conducted on March 15 for primary and secondary school teachers. Acting on a tip-off unit's sleuths, the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police conducted search operations at several locations in Hazaribagh on March 14 and 15.
Following this, it was found that several aspirants were supplied question papers before the exam. The police detained several candidates on the day of the exam. Earlier, it had arrested five persons, who allegedly masterminded the TRE 3 paper leak.
The commission, however, said in a statement that there is no concrete evidence regarding the paper leak before the exam commenced. “The first information regarding the question paper leak was provided to the Commission by 02.30 pm on 15.03.2024. Before that, the first shift examination had ended at 12.00 pm and the second shift examination had started at 02.30 pm.”
A decision regarding the BPSC TRE exam conducted on March 15 will be taken after receiving the evidence that it was leaker before the exam began, the BPSC said. A special team has also been appointed to investigate the reported malpractice.

“Students of Bihar spoke to the media today with evidence of paper leak. The paper has been leaked on a large scale, the exam should be canceled and re-examination should be conducted. #BPSC_TRE3_REEXAM #BPSC_TRE3_PAPER_LEAK,” Ramanuj Dubey posted on X along with the video of the statement given to the media.
“People are so angry with the BPSC TRE paper leak that till now 10,000 diapers have been sent to the BJP office! The Bihar government should wear these diapers as soon as possible so that no recruitment paper is leaked in future and the Bihar government should return the examination fees to all the candidates,” a X user tweeted.
Sharing another video where candidates are purportedly noting answers from a mobile, an aspirant tagged Bihar police and Nitish Kumar and posted: “Why is there no official confirmation yet @bihar_police ! Whom is the Bihar government trying to save? @NitishKumar. Yes, come to the lodge and hostel once and see with what enthusiasm the children prepare.”

“When the children themselves are saying that they had sold the paper for Rs 10 lakh. Had gone to Jharkhand to memorize the answer, yet the Commission is trying to calm down the matter by throwing dust in everyone's eyes,” another X user said.
