BSc Nursing entrance exam 2023 before June 15; Indian Nursing Council announces schedule

The academic session for the BSc Nursing will begin on August 1 and the admission process is scheduled to be concluded on September 30.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Nursing Council has announced the schedule for the BSc Nursing for the academic year 2023. As per the announcement, the entrance exam for the BSc Nursing admission 2023 will be conducted on June 15, 2023.
Admission to the BSc Nursing programme will be based on the scores secured in the common entrance examination conducted by the state government. Candidates interested in pursuing the programme after Class 12 will have to fill the application form and complete the registration process before the deadline.
As per the guidelines, the academic session for the course will begin on August 1 and the admission process is scheduled to be concluded on September 30.

Some subjects pursued in BSc Nursing courses as per the curriculum set by the Indian Nursing Council Anatomy are - psychology, physiology, introduction to computers, nursing foundations, pharmacology, nutrition, sociology etc. Aspirants will be able to check the list of universities offering recognised nursing programmes on the Indian Nursing Council's official website, indiannursingcouncil.org.
The eligibility criteria may vary for different institutes. However, aspirants should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50 percent in physics, chemistry, biology. English should be a mandatory subject in Class 12 and the applicant should be medically fit.
Those students who complete the Bachelor of Science in Nursing four-year undergraduate course will be able to apply for staff nurse, registered nurse (RN), nurse educator, medical coder, registered nurse (RN) - emergency room, nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse.
