BSE Odisha has announced the OTET 2026 exam schedule. Paper 1 and 2 will be held on June 21, while admit cards will be released on June 9
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has announced the exam dates for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026. As per the official notice, the OTET exam 2026 will be conducted on June 21, 2026 and the timings for paper 1 will be 9 am to 11:30 am whereas for paper 2 will be held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
Paper I is for aspirants who want to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper II is for candidates interested in teaching Classes 6 to 8. The admit card for the OTET 2026 exam will be available from June 9, 2026 on the official website of BSE Odisha at bseodisha.nic.in.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, and physically handicapped categories need a minimum of 50% marks to qualify, while others require 60% marks to pass the examination.

OTET Admit Card 2026: Steps to download
Once the OTET 2026 hall ticket 2026 is available, candidates can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of the BSE at bseodisha.ac.in
- On the homepage, go to the latest updates section and click on the OTET admit card 2026 download link
- Enter the details, including registration number, date of birth & security code and then login
- The OTET admit card 2026 will be displayed on the screen
- Download the OTET 2026 hall ticket 2026 and take a printout for future reference
OTET 2026: Exam pattern
The OTET exam pattern and syllabus 2026 is divided into two papers, each carrying a total of 150 marks with 150 questions and no negative marking. In paper 1, candidates are assessed in subjects such as child development and pedagogy [30 marks], language I (odia/urdu/hindi/telugu/bengali) [30 marks], language II (english) [30 marks], mathematics [30 marks], and environmental science [30 marks].
Paper 2 also includes child development and pedagogy [30 marks], language I (odia/urdu/hindi/telugu/bengali) [30 marks], language II (english) [30 marks], mathematics & science (60 marks) or social studies (60 marks).
