This year 13,40,267 students appeared in the Bihar board high school examination. In the previous year, around 9,69,159 students passed the exams. This year, the overall pass percentage has been dropped from 80.44 per cent in 2020 to 78.04 per cent in 2021.

The overall pass percentage of the Commerce stream has seen a drop from 93.26 per cent to 91.48 per cent.

Similarly in the Arts, the pass percentage has dropped from 81.44 per cent to 77.97 per cent and in Science, the drop was from 77.39 per cent to 76.2 per cent.
