Bihar DElEd CET 2026 application, fee payment deadline extended again; apply by January 24

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has once again extended the deadline for filling the online application form and payment of exam fee for the Bihar Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) Joint Entrance Examination (CET) 2026. The entrance examination is being conducted for admission to the two-year DElEd course for the academic session 2026–2028.
According to the latest notification issued by the board, candidates can now submit the BSEB DElEd CET 2026 application form and deposit the prescribed fee from January 10 to January 24. Earlier, the application window was scheduled to close on January 9 . The board stated that the remaining conditions mentioned in the previous advertisement will remain unchanged.
Eligible candidates can apply through the official website, bsebdeled.com. For the application fee, candidates belonging to the general, economically weaker section (EWS), backward class (BC), and extremely backward class (EBC) categories are required to pay Rs 960. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Divyang categories need to pay Rs 760.
Bihat DElEd CET 2026 eligibility criteria
Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply, while SC and PwD candidates require a minimum of 45% marks.
Candidates should be at least 17 years old on the first day of the admission year. The final selection will be based on merit prepared from entrance test scores and institutional preferences submitted by candidates.
BSEB DElEd 2026 exam date
The Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2026 is scheduled to be held between January 19 and February 18. The Bihar DElEd 2026 admit cards was scheduled to be out today, January 10, on the official website.
Before the release of the final admit card, the board will issue a dummy admit card to allow candidates to verify their personal and examination details. The schedule for corrections in the dummy admit card will be notified separately.
After the completion of the examination, the provisional answer key will be released. Candidates will be allowed to submit objections to the answer key from February 26 to March 1 through the prescribed process. The BSEB DELEd CET 2026 result is expected to be declared in March.
