BSEB expands online JEE, NEET preparation to classes 11, 12 students in 700 model schools

The BSEB has also announced to also provide its online free coaching programme to 155 selected Saraswati Vidya Niketan Model Schools across the state.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has expanded its online coaching classes for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) exams to Class 11 and 12 students of 700 model schools across the state.
The board has also announced three education schemes under the state government’s initiative. The BSEB will also introduce an interactive e-learning platform for Classes 9 to 12 students in around 700 model schools.
Moreover, it will also launch a “Mera Vidyalaya Mera Swabhiman” scheme to provide a platform to the former students of the government schools of the state.

“A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Tyagarajan SM, chairman, Bihar School Examination Board, in the auditorium of the Board's main building. The meeting was attended by the Nodal District Program Officers from all districts, Deputy Secretaries of the Board's regional offices, and Board officials,” according to the BSEB’s official notification.
According to the notice, the board will implement the three schemes at the district level, and the District Program Officer (DPO) will act as the nodal officer for their respective districts.
The BSEB chairman has also directed all nodal DPOs to cooperate in the implementation of the schemes.
“In this regard, the committee will develop parameters based on which district-wise rankings will be made based on their performance assessments,” the notice read.
Furthermore, the board has also expanded its online free coaching programme to 155 selected Saraswati Vidya Niketan Model Schools across the state.
Thiyagrajan SM, chairman, BSBE, in a post on X, announced that the free coaching programme is currently being conducted by experienced teachers and has been proving beneficial for students.
