BSNL announces Direct Recruitment for JTO under Special Recruitment Drive

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 14: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has released the notification for direct recruitment of Junior Telecom Officer (JTO). The recruitment has been proposed to sign up JTO (Electrical/Civil) for SC/ST/OBC candidates through valid GATE 2019 scores under Special Recruitment Drive. Details about the BSNL recruitment will be notified later by the authorities.

The recruitment is open only for SC/ST/OBC candidates. BSNL has announced that they will be offering IDA pay scale of Rs. 16,400 – 40,500 to all recruited applicants for approximately 198 posts of JTO (Electrical)/JTO (Civil). The applicants are required to meet the given eligibility criteria to apply for the special recruitment:

• The candidates should have completed their BE/B.Tech or equivalent n Electrical/Civil Engineering.

• Should have also required to appear in GATE 2019, opting one paper from selected two disciplines of GATE paper codes i.e., EE & CE.

No other information about the recruitment has been released as of yet by the officials. According to the official notification, the details will be announced through the official BSNL website. The number of vacancies is tentative in nature and BSNL has the right to change the number of vacancies/conditions at any stage.

GATE 2019 registrations have commenced from August 31, 2018. The final date to submit the application form is September 21, 2019. IIT Madras will be conducting the examination of GATE on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019.
