CA Foundation exam 2023 postponed; to be held from December 31

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) has postponed CA Foundation 2023 exam dates. CA Foundation December 2023 exams will now be held on December 31, January 2, 4 and 6, 2024.
“Due to unavoidable circumstances, ICAI Foundation Course Examinations - December 2023 have been re-scheduled to 31st December 2023, 2nd, 4th and 6th January 2024 in place of 24th, 26th, 28th and 30th December 2023,” the ICAI official website read.
However, the CA intermediate and final examination 2023 will be held as per schedule. CA Intermediate 2023 exams will be held on November 2, 4, 6, and 8 for group 1 and group 2 exams will be conducted on November 10, 13, 15, and 17.
The institute has scheduled CA Final exams 2023 on November 1, 3, 5, and 7 for group 1 and November 9, 11, 14, and 16 for group 2.
The CA Foundation registration process has already begun on the official website, icai.org. The last date to apply for the ICAI CA exams 2023 is August 23. The last date for submitting the CA online application form with late fee of Rs 600 is August 30.
Applicants who complete the CA Foundation, inter and final exam forms will be allowed to edit the application if required from September 1 to 7.
In the latest announcement, the ICAI informed that the students who have cleared either of the groups of intermediate examinations under the old scheme will be allowed to opt for the three years of practical training latest by September 30.
