Calcutta University BA LLB admit card 2023 issued; important instructions for candidates

NEW DELHI : Calcutta University has issued the admit card for BA LLB entrance exam 2023 for admission to the five-year law programme for the academic year 2023024. Students who applied for BA LLB admission 2023 can download the Calcutta University BA LLB admit card on the official website. BA LLB 2023 entrance exam will be held on August 6.

The admit card will include details on the candidate's name, exam date, timings, exam centre, and more. Students will have to carry the admit card to the exam centre.

The duration of the LLB entrance exam is two hours. The test will be conducted in offline mode and the question paper will comprise 50 multiple choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks. Candidates will be awarded two marks for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking.

Calcutta University BA LLB Admission 2023: Important instructions

• Candidates will have to paste one self-attested photograph in the prescribed space provided in the hall ticket
• Candidates should report at their respective test centers 90 minutes before exam start time. Entry to the test center will be closed 30 minutes prior to exam start time.
• Candidates must produce the admit card for verification at the time of exam along with an original photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport / Driving License).
• Candidate's name on the photo ID should match the exact name on the admit card. The photo ID card should not be damaged or smudged. Candidates failing to bring original photo ID cards will not be allowed to appear for the test.
• Specially eligible PWD candidates may avail extra time of 20 minutes per hour for the test subject to prior approval from appropriate authority of the University.
• Specially eligible PWD candidates who require any special assistance due to medical reason must seek a prior approval letter from Calcutta University.
• Only Hall ticket, photo ID Card and black ink pen will be allowed inside the test hall.
• Mobile phones, cap or hat, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, stationery items, papers, wallets, goggles, jackets and any jewelry or items containing metal will not be allowed inside the exam hall.
• There is no facility for safekeeping of your personal belongings outside the test hall and nobody will be responsible for any kind of loss.
• Friends and relatives accompanying the candidates will not be allowed inside the test center
• Candidates need to make their own travel and stay arrangements for attending the test.
• The admit card is provisional, subject to the condition that the candidate has fulfilled the eligibility conditions like academic qualification, category, PWD status, etc., as mentioned in their application, subject to verification.
