NEW DELHI- IIM Indore has successfully conducted the slot 2 of CAT 2020 exam between 12:30 p.m to 2:30 p.m. CAT 2020 slot 2 was conducted in computer based mode at 430 centres across 159 cities in India. CAT 2020 slot 2 was similar to CAT slot 1 in terms of exam pattern. As per CAT 2020 slot 2 analysis, the difficulty level of the exam was on the higher side as compared to CAT 2020 slot 1.

According to Chetan Dave, the overall CAT 2020 exam was easy as compared to previous year. The VARC section was comparatively easy with 2 reading comprehension passages and no synonyms, antonyms questions. DILR was too difficult and lengthy to solve. The quantitative aptitude section was of moderate level. There were 8 TITA questions in the quantitative aptitude section.

On the other hand, according to Divyansh Singhal, the VARC section was lengthy but manageable. The quantitative aptitude section was easy to moderate with questions more from time and distance, time and work, arithmetic and geometric progressions and logarithms. The difficulty of the DILR section was of moderate level.

As per Careers360 slot 2 CAT exam analysis, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult. The first section of CAT 2020 slot 2 was VARC which comprised 26 questions with a sectional limit of 40 minutes. The level of the questions was pretty easier as compared to slot 1. In the verbal ability section, the questions in CAT slot 2 were based on parajumbles, odd one out and para completion.

This section was followed by DILR that had 24 questions. As per the experts’ opinion, the questions in slot 2 were a little difficult to attempt in comparison to slot 1 of CAT 2020. The DI sets consisted of tabular graphs, bar and line graphs. The next in row was Quantitative Aptitude section with 26 questions and a time limit of 40 minutes. The weightage of questions was more on the time and distance, series and mensuration side. The level of these questions in slot 2 was comparatively easier than slot 1. There were a number of questions based on arithmetic which were comparatively trickier but easy to attempt.
