NEW DELHI: IIM Ahmedabad, the conducting body of CAT 2021, has extended the date of registration for CAT exam 2021 till September 22. The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for CAT 2021 can register for it at the CAT application window available at the CAT 2021 official website iimcat.ac.in. To complete the application process for CAT 2021, the candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 2200 for General category candidates and Rs 1100 for the SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates.

In the marquee running over the official website,iimcat.ac.in CAT 2021, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad mentions that "Candidates can now choose Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) as a preferred city for CAT 2021". According to the newly added city, the CAT exam will now be held in 159 cities across the country.

The aspirants who dream to pursue MBA at premier institutes in India must apply for the CAT exam 2021 as its score is accepted by over 100 MBA colleges such as FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, IMT, JBIMS, SPJIMR, PUMBA, LIBA, etc.
IIM Ahmedabad had revised the eligibility criteria, specifically for CAT 2021. It was due to the massive queries from the candidates whose candidature became unsure because of the pandemic situation. Refer here for the updated eligibility criteria of CAT 2021:
Students who completed graduation with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category) are eligible to apply for the CAT entrance exam 2021.
Final year students are also eligible to fill the application form before the CAT exam last date 2021.
There is no age limit for the IIM CAT exam 2021.
Work experience is not mandatory.
Students from the academic year of 2020-21:
Unlike the previous years, it is not required for the CAT candidates to have obtained minimum marks criteria of 50% for General and 45% for SC/ ST/ PwD to appear for CAT 2021.
Students with “promotion/ pass” instead of “award of marks” certificates in any of the last two years (2020-2021) of the bachelor’s degree can enter the “promotion/ pass” option in the CAT application form 2021.

Step 1: First, go to the CAT 2021 official website: iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: Then the candidate needs to click the option “New Candidate Registration” displayed on the right side of the official webpage.
Step 3: After that, provide the asked essential details in the given columns such as:
Name
Date of Birth
Email ID
Country
Mobile Number
Captcha
Step 4: Once all the required details are entered, click on the “Generate OTP” button. The OTP will be sent both to the applicant's registered mail id and provided mobile number.
Step 5: Next, the candidate needs to log in to the dashboard and start filling the CAT Exam Application Form 2021 using the login credentials.
Step 6: Then, enter the academic/ qualification details of SSC/ Class 10, HSC/ Class 12, Bachelor’s Degree Details, Master’s Degree Details, Other Professional Degree Details in the prescribed spaces.
Step 7: After that, provide the candidate’s other personal details, communication details, emergency contact details and upload all the requisite documents in the format specified.
Step 8: Select any six CAT 2021 cities preferred by the candidates.
Step 9: Finally, pay the application fee for CAT 2021 via the online mode of payment.
